The CFF offers the opportunity for participants from 5 years of age to 15 years of age to play football in our league. We have three non-competitive divisions for those between the ages of 5 and 9. They are Flag, Tiny Mite, and Mitey Mite. In Flag and Tiny Mite competition no score is kept. Score is kept in the Mitey Mite division, however there are no standings or league champions.
We also offer four competitive divisions for those between the ages of 8 and 15. Each of these age divisions are further broken down into Division I, II, and III. League champions are declared in each of these competitive divisions and the champions continue to play and represent the CFF in the Mid South Regional Playoffs.
The CFF provides opportunities for participation in football in 7 divisions.
Flag: Ages 5, 6, & 7
Tiny Mite: Ages 5, 6, & 7 and weighing between 35 & 75 lbs.
Mitey Mite: Ages 7, 8, & 9 and weighing between 45 & 90 lbs.
Jr. Pee Wee: Ages 8, 9, & 10 weighing between 60 & 105 lbs and age 11 weighing between 60 & 85 lbs.
Pee Wee: Ages 9, 10, & 11 weighing between 75 & 120 lbs and age 12 weighing between 75 & 100 lbs.
Jr. Midget: Ages 10, 11, & 12 weighing between 90 & 145 lbs and age 13 weighing between 90 & 120 lbs.
Midget: Ages 12, 13 & 14 weighing between 105 & 170 lbs and age 15 weighing between 105 & 140 lbs.
NEWS BRIEFS
The Mid South Scholar Tribute will be held on March 17, 2013 at the Raleigh Convention Center. The Tribute is over half full at this time and space is limited. Please contact your All Americans and urge them to RSVP as soon as possible.
