Three CFF teams bring home trophies from Disney. On December 7th, the Wake Forest Titans JM Large Novice Cheer Squad finished in 1st place to win the National Championship. On December the 9th, the North Raleigh Bulldogs Red JM's defeated the Palmetto Broncos to win the Division II JM National Football Championship and the Capital City Steelers Midget Intermediate Medium Cheer Squad finished 5th. The 2011 Mid South Regional Football Championships were held on November 26, 2010 in Raleigh, NC. Three CFF teams played for the 10 Regional Championship spots. The Capital City Steelers Black PW's, North Raleigh Bulldogs Red JM's, and North Raleigh Bulldogs Midget's won Regional Championships and will represent the Mid South Region at the National Pop Warner Super Bowl at Disney World in Orlando beginning December 3rd. The 2011 Mid South Regional Cheer and Dance Competition was held on November 25 in Raleigh, NC. Eight CFF Cheer and Dance teams wil represent the CFF and the Mid South Regional at the National Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Competiton. The competition is to be held at Disney World in Orlando the week December 5 - 9. Cheer teams include Wake Forest Jr. Pee Wee, Wilders Grove Pee Wee, Wake Forest Pee Wee, Apex Pee Wee, Wake Forest Jr. Midget, Apex Midget, and Capital City Midget. The Durham Ragin' Eagle Mitey Mite team has been selected to represent the Mid South Region in the inaugural Mitey Mite Bowl at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney World in Orlando Florida on December 3rd as a part of the Pop Warner National Championships.

The Durham War Eagles Pee Wee Football team will play the Jacksonville Storm Pee Wee in the 2011 Sir Purr Bowl. The Sir Purr Bowl is an exhibiton football game played during half time of the Carolina Panthers game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 25th. Good luck Eagles.

The Mid-South Region announced that the 2011 Mid-South Regional Championships will be held in Raleigh. The Regional Cheer & Dance Competition will held on Friday, November 25th at the Raleigh Convention Center. Football Championships will be held on Saturday, November 26th on local area High School Football fields.

2011 Chuck Norman Scholarship Recipients - Rebecca Shaffer of the Apex Cougars and Kenneth "Michael" Kovasala of the Apex Cougars. Both will receive $1,000 scholarships from the CFF.
