Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer & dance programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around the world. Consisting of approximately 400,000 young people ranging from 5 to 16 years old, Pop Warner is the largest youth football and cheer & dance program in the United States.
In 2009 the CFF provided opportunities to over 3,500 young athletes to participate in football, cheer, and dance in the triangle. Nine of our cheer and dance teams proudly represented the CFF at the Pop Warner National Championships held in December at Disney's Wide World of Sports.
In order to continue to promote and support the 13 Member Associations, we need your support. The two major issues faced by our Associations are recruiting new participants and finances. It is our intention at the league level to assist in the promotion and recruiting on behalf of all of our Associations without placing an additional financial burden on them.
The CFF also started a Challenger Division in 2009. The Challenger Division is a flag football and cheer division for those individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Funds are needed to assist us in continuing to provide this worth while opportunity to the triangle area.
